When Alignment Services are Due

Here are the telltale warning signs that show up to signal a wheel misalignment condition exists with the first telltale warning signs listed first and with progressively worsening symptoms following:

• Rapid wear – this appears as areas of concentrated wear on the tires, usually as bald rings at the tread edge, bald spots on the center tread, or cupping.
• Vibrations – If rapid wear goes undetected, the areas of rapid wear will worsen until the tires are basically damaged and not making good contact with the road. When this happens, you’ll notice vibrations in the cabin while driving, which usually worsens with higher speeds.
• Pressure – if the vibrations get ignored, the tires will eventually wear until they won’t hold air pressure, which is quite unfortunate if this happens while driving at speed. The ultimate consequence of wheel misalignment is a blowout and immobilized vehicle.
